Abstarct: Shotcrete is one of the temporary support systems of the tunnel, which is made of concrete. Shotcrete concrete is affected by bending, shearing, compressive and tensile forces. Despite bearing compressive load, concrete has a significant weakness in supporting tensile forces as well as cutting and bending. Therefore, in making shotcrete concrete, different types of fibers have been used to compensate for this weakness. For this reason, all these characteristics are examined in the laboratory examination of concrete researchers. In this research, laboratory samples of concrete containing fibers with different mixing plans and also under different loadings, compressive, tensile and bending have been subjected to laboratory investigation, and in addition to this monitoring, acoustic emission system has been used for more detailed investigation. . In fact, the aim was to investigate the effect of fibers in the structure of laboratory samples to compensate for the tensile and bending weakness of concrete. The result of the analysis of loading and acoustic emission data is that the addition of fibers to the shotcrete concrete structure has strengthened the tensile and bending weaknesses of the concrete, and the failure mechanism has changed from tension to shear. The results of the works can be used as a seal of approval on the use of fibers in compensating the tensile and bending weaknesses of shotcrete concrete used in the support system against the natural forces caused by excavation of underground spaces and tunnels.
